Why Batman is the most Relatable Superhero

All of us, at some point of time in our life, have heard of the caped crusader or simply, The Batman. Though we call him a superhero, but even if you just watch any movie of batman(except batman and robin) u would never think that you are watching a superhero movie. We could call him, 'The closer to ground superhero'. What is the reason that though we may like other superheroes batman feels different from others?

1.No superpowers

 If anyone has seen any movies about Superman or Thor, you could say that they are gods, and literally, the latter is one. Although Gods play an important role in our life they are not the ones we could compare us with. But Batman is no god, nor is he a superhero, as he had said in The Justice League movie, he is just rich, which makes him more similar to us than Superman or Thor. Our mind feels more comfortable with people who are similar to us. Now, many of you might say that "So what, Iron man is also a normal, rich human!" Yes, it is true but at some point in time, the technology of iron man though superior to Batman's starts feeling unfamiliar but Batman uses just a hook rope, some ninja stars shaped like a bat and some cool fighting skills while iron man's nanotechnology and arc reactor technology just doesn't feel familiar though they are cool to look at.

2.Awesome Rogue gallery 

 When we talk about Batman's villains, it is inevitable to talk about Joker. Batman and joker have a very unique hero-villain relationship. Usually, both the antagonists and protagonists are after each other's blood but here both avoid killing each other. Both have their reasons, Batman has a moral code that he would avoid killing anyone he faces, while joker being a psychopath thinks that if he kills Batman then he would not have much fun in life. Joker actually said about this in the movie, 'Dark Knight'. "You(Batman) won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness and I(joker) won't kill you because you are just too much fun!" Other antagonists of the dark knight are scarecrow, Bane, Riddler, etc.

3.Origin Story

 If you look at the origin story of other superheroes like superman who has a supernatural origin story, iron man's origin is technological but a little unrealistic in today's world, spider man's origin is scientific but unrealistic, while our all-mighty batman has a comparatively realistic origin story where his parents get killed by a robber and to make his city crime-free Bruce Wayne becomes batman by using his technology as he is a rich lad.
